SEPTEMBER 14 · YOUR DAY

A little love,
in every detail.
For you, Arwa.

If I could wrap a feeling, it would look like this.
Your favorite roses, a little music,
and all my wishes for your happiness.

CHAPTER22ONE OF A KIND
A LITTLE WORLD, MADE FOR YOUWITH YOU IN EVERY DETAIL

FROM OUR TIME TOGETHER

Some moments
stay with you.

Two memories I still hold with tenderness.

Arwa and me sitting together, a photograph from our time as a couple.
A MOMENT TO KEEP

I’m glad this little piece of our story exists.

Arwa and me smiling outdoors in a photograph from our time together.
THAT SMILE

Looking at this, I remember why making you smile meant so much to me.

LITTLE THINGS, LOVINGLY CHOSEN

For that smile
I’m so fond of.

A few small ways to say you matter to me.

01

A rose, and a thought

Red roses, because they’re your favorite.
A little note, because I couldn’t resist.

02

A little sweetness

Something sweet for someone sweeter.
Yes, I’m being a little cheesy. It’s your birthday.

03

A pocket-sized admirer

He’s here to steal your heart.
I’ve explained that the competition is difficult.

I hope you smile at least once while you’re here. That would make this worth it.

A WISH FOR YOUR TWENTY-SECOND YEAR

Close your eyes.
Wish for something lovely.

Keep a little dream to yourself.
I’ll be wishing for your happiness.

May this year bring you love you can feel and happiness you can keep.

AND FINALLY, FROM THE HEART

Happy birthday,
my dear Arwa.

A letter for your twenty-second birthday.
Every word, from the heart.

TO: ARWA14 SEPTEMBER

My dear Arwa,

I’ve been thinking about what to give you for your birthday. In the end, I wanted to make something with you in every detail: the roses you love, something sweet, a tiny companion, and a few words I mean with all my heart.

You became someone I could imagine a whole life with. When I thought about our future, I thought about the ordinary things as much as the big ones: having you beside me, sharing the small details of a day, and finding new reasons to make you smile. That hope was real, and so were my feelings for you.

Life has taken a different shape from the one we imagined. I still care for you deeply. What we shared matters to me, and I remember it with tenderness. On your birthday, I want that tenderness to reach you as something gentle: a little warmth, a smile, a reminder that you are cherished.

I love the little things that make you you. Your red roses, your love of candy, your soft spot for dogs small enough to fit into the tiniest corner of your heart. Remembering those things made choosing every part of this gift feel personal. I couldn’t put everything I feel into a website, but I could put care into it.

For your twenty-second year, I wish you peaceful mornings, laughter that catches you by surprise, and the confidence to go after the things you quietly dream about. I hope you feel understood. I hope you have people beside you who are kind with your heart. And I hope you find so many reasons to be happy that an ordinary day starts to feel like something worth celebrating.

You don’t need to find the perfect words to answer this. I simply wanted you to have something lovely on your day, and to know that the wish behind it is sincere: may life be good to you, Arwa.

Happy twenty-second birthday. I’m grateful our lives met. Looking at these photographs, I’m reminded that our story held real happiness, and I’ll always value that. And I hope that, somewhere between the music and these last few words, I’ve made you smile.

With love, and a wish for your happiness. ♡
